Howdy, fellow Draconiacs!  RazorFox here.

Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you.  An apology really did just cross Kess‘ lips.  Miracles can still happen.

Those of you looking for a soundtrack for this page can pull up “Leader of Men” by Nickelback.

And I don’t have too much else to say this week.  I’m pretty exhausted, as this page took a lot out of me.  Time to rest up and get to work on next week’s installment.  Will Kess finally forgive her sister Kilani?  Stay tuned…

Until then, take care, my fellow Draconiacs, and thanks for reading!

=RazorFox.

*Sniff**Sniff* this is making me teary eyed… though Kess’s answer was… how do I put it… predictably boring

Sorry about that. Not every line can be a stunner, and sometimes, the simplest way to say something is the most effective, even if it’s not terribly exciting. ^__^;

Another wonderful page from you Razor! And *gasp* Kess giving an apology!? O_o

Thanks for the kind words! And Kess isn’t entirely merciless. She almost forgave Kilani once before, but that was before learning where they wound up.

You’re welcome~ I’m glad to hear Kess can have a semi-soft side too. It makes her realistic. xD That’s what makes it a good thing to give characters good and bad traits. ^w^ You make it hard for me to pick sides… Dragons or Tigers. xD

I’ve deliberately structured things so that neither side is painted as good or bad. Rather, I want to show that each side has justification for its actions, and within each side, there are heroes as well as some “bad” people. I’m of the mind that everyone is capable of acts of great good and tremendous evil. We’re seeing here that Kess can be swayed. Glad I was able to create a realistic portrayal on her. ^__^

I knew that it couldn’t happen, or at least wouldn’t. It is too predictable, I know this because I managed to predict it, and because I did it inherently won’t happen.

What, Kess apologizing? But it did just happen, on this page. Up there. Above all this. Or are you talking about something else? o_O

Awwww, geeze… we Kilani REALLY needs a hug!

The poor girl can only take so much. She had to crack sooner or later.

Dang! I didn’t see Kilani breaking down like this. Granted she’s been through quite a bit as of late, but she’s a warriors. Shouldn’t she be use to it by now. Also, not trying to be the devil’s advocate, but I can’t help but feel that Kess’s apology might turn into an insult in the next page or so.

Honestly. What did Kess expect Kilani to say after that long winded pointing of the finger? I’m honestly surprised that Kess apologised at the end. I was expecting it to be more along the lines of:
Kess: “That’s right. Hang your head in shame, you worthless little mongrel! By the way, you’re adopted!”
I think it’s high time that Kess sucks it up and stops running her big fat mouth. Or at the very least, Shie walks over and breaks her jaw. Either works for me.

Kess, do the right thing. Everyone needs to pack up, and head home, eat a few steaks and get some sleep.

Sounds like a good plan. In fact, I could go for some steak. My treat, ladies!

is it just me, or is most of all the battles and war and no-existing peace due to a massive language barrier?

It certainly isn’t helping, that’s for certain. ^__^

When a mouth says nothing the body denounces everything. This is what we call “body language”. So it’s very clear Kess’ apologies weren’t sincere by looking at her facial expression. Kess is planning a retaliation to make Kilani pay for all the hell she went through for sure!!

well well, we have had the earth dragons save what was left of the dragons from an angry volcano, earth dragons gaining a good role in society. Kilani save her sister and friends from prison, getting up to the point where kess acctualy apologized, and many more things i don’t remember… now we’re only missing a male fox counterpart of the female one, standing in the dark within the cave, watching with a glee….. a madmans glee, but still an awesome glee… and nice page as always, razorfox^^

There should have been an artefact that enables dragons to understand tiger speech and vice versa. That way they can all come along, and then we can get dragons+tigers fanservice!

Dragons are fully capable of Learning the Dragon tongue. It has been shown in the Comic that Queen Obscura Speaks Tiger, and quite well! http://draconia.katboxad.net/archive/comic-222/ and http://draconia.katboxad.net/archive/comic-236/

I wonder if Shaleigh will show up again 😛
