Howdy, fellow Draconiacs!  RazorFox here.

It looks like Eone the Earth Dragons aren’t exactly making any new friends on this mission.  Will Cinder‘s sighting put this uneasy partnership to the test?  We shall see…

Those of you looking for a soundtrack for this page can continue to pull up “The Hardest Button to Button” by White Stripes.

Click here to order the 2014 "Draconia Chronicles" Calendar! It’s that time of year again!  You can now order the 2014 Draconia Chronicles Calendar, this year carrying the theme of “If They Were Human.”  You’ll get twelve months of the series’ biggest characters done up as humans from all walks of life, and you can get it for just $17.00 plus $5.00 for worldwide shipping and handling.  Place your order now!

Also, as for the Dragons happening upon some hapless Tigers, that’s going to have to wait until the new year, as well, because for the next few weeks, the main story takes a brief break to make way for this years Holiday Special!  Will the elusive Sandy Claws make her presence known once again?  Find out soon!  Brace yourself for epic cuteness!

On a side note, I want to thank you all for your patience over the past couple months, as updates have been further apart than usual.  This is largely due to a class that I’ve been taking and the extra work it requires me to do.  I’m happy to say that the semester will end soon and I’ve got several weeks of break time ahead.  Updates should be closer together during that time.  I do have another class that will start up in mid-January, so we’ll enjoy it while we can.  I thank you all for hanging in there and for wanting to see what happens next in the story.  Your loyalty and patience have really encouraged me.  I love you all!  ^o^

Take care, my fellow Draconiacs, and thanks for reading!

Yay, an update! I understand why the comic is running slow. Take your time. I’d rather see it done right than not done!

Thanks, Nixie! That was the other aspect of it: I COULD, theoretically, keep it going weekly, but the art quality would seriously suffer. It’d be like, “Backgrounds? Nah, man. You get gradients!” ^__^;

take your time, i am just falling in love with your sunset. the color use is amazing. did you ever think about making a poster specifically of this moment, tigers on the blossomed ground and dragon in the burning sky?

I hadn’t, but now you’ve got me thinking that maybe I should. And thanks so much for the kind words on these two pages’ coloring. I experimented quite a bit to get things to look like they did in my head, and I’m glad that they came out as nice as they did. I really wanted to capture the sunset’s warm glow, and from your reaction, it sounds like I hit the mark. ^__^

just as long as they keep it sexy

Always! ^o^

good, wait is NixieSeal reading your comic??

Ooooh my god! OOooooohhhh … my god! 😀 Is it just Kilani? Kess and her gang? Do they spot them all?? Oh man, oh man, oh man *bounces*

I see you shiver with antici-…

…-pation. ^__^

Oh you lovely author, you <3 Also! I just realized that I would love to know when the dragons learned the tiger language and successfully translated it. If Cinder was "cramming" like she said, that means there are documents! How long ago was that done, and was it mandated by one of the past Queens? Oscura is obviously fluent. Guess it really shows how military-minded the dragons are, since the tigers have yet to bother learning Draconian for intercepting messages and actually understanding what their enemy is saying.

I’m kinda hopping that its not Kess and her gang, mainly because I really don’t want to see a full on tiger/ dragon brawl right now. I’m hopping that it will just be Kilani and perhaps well finally get an example of some “peaceful” (or at least tame) interaction between her and the earth dragons, both groups are not really looking for a fight so I wander what conclusion they could possible end up with.

Well, we’ll soon find out just who it is that Cinder sees. Whether it’s an entirely peaceful encounter will depend on each party’s level of restraint…

IT BEGINS.

Also, another question for the author: What is the name of this land? If it’s “Draconia,” which the title of the comic suggests it is, then that sounds like a name which favors the dragon race, which begs a further question: are the tigers native to this land, or immigrants?

By the way, I’m with the other readers about the comic design. Keep the updates as slow as you need to in order to keep it looking this good. That sunset, man. THAT SUNSET. 🙂

Thanks for the compliment! I love how the sunset effect came out, too. As for who belongs where, I think it’s safe to say that each side regards the other as an unwelcome party. As to who the land belongs to, maybe we’ll find out one day. Until then, you’ll have to settle for sexy violence. ^__^

I noticed the varying horn lengths on these ladies and wondered, do they grow to a genetically determined length and stop growing or do some of girls keep them trimmed/filed short by choice?

There is a certain genetic factor to it, in that the thickness and degree of curvature of your horns is hereditary. It’s much like how human hair generally grows in one of two ways: straight, and not straight (i.e. curly, wavy, kinky, etc.). Same thing with the Dragon horns. One day, I might show a Dragon or two having their horns “manicured” (“cornicured?”) to keep them even and presentable.
