That last panel is somber, but that one of Elektra and her daughter is just too damn cute.
Need I remind you, she’s not a cat. She’s an alien that happens to resemble a cat from Earth in some physical ways, and resembles a human in more ways. Humans would be a far closer relative of cats than her, she may not even have the same biochemistry. You shouldn’t expect her to be affected by catnip either. Besides, for all you know, she’s about to do tail exercises and is doing warmups while she’s standing there.
