Dean Farassi: “You got anymore of that ranch dressing?”
It’ll be like cigarettes in a prison!
Her comes the catch.
What do you think it’ll be?
I wonder if the quick shutdown of Zmia’s project was also because her snakey kind is not on the council? Based on the ranch dressing and what few suggestions of body types we’ve seen, it feels like the council is non-carnivorous types.
Is the implication here that if Shaleigh succeeds in her project, the fox might earn a council seat for her or her race? High stakes if so!
Having a Fox on the Conclave would certainly help Shaleigh’s job security!
Dean, Deal, Done.
Stay Safe, Stay Silent.
Farassi is filled in on the fallout fomented by Shaleigh’s feats. Far from praise, Farassi instead fires back over her freely flattering foreigners and attempts to show supremacy when Oscura threatened to abscond from a deal done between them. On top of that, objections over outsiders inside the dimensional domicile have been deemed dangerous to domestic denizens. This would be enough to eject Shaleigh from the institute and pass the project to another person. But the two highest positions in the institute have invested interest in the adventure and avow for its accomplishment. What works for them works for her wellbeing. With two stark seats to seize and the institute’s long existence in the stakes, Farassi forwards clemency and secrecy in couple bounded by a condition for Shaleigh’s cooperation.
Shaleigh’s project now pivots on Farassi’s firm foundation for future endeavors. Can the fox, with favors, follow through with her exploits? What does Farassi fancy enough to warrant her weighing in with Shaleigh? Or is this the beginning of the imminent end?
Will the vexing vixen vindicate herself or will the magnanimous mare’s misgivings prevail?
