That Clean Feeling

The Myth of Fiery Freshness and The Danger of Down Below

Mizu, Fiera and Arc all allow for ablution of the decoration that was dappled on them so dutifully. As Mizu mumbles about the mascara’s mulishness, Arc asks Fiera about how Fire Dragons refresh without rinsing. Arc adds in that her kind naturally electrify any water they contact. Which makes for a shocking soaking when someone steps in. Fiera slyly insinuates about Arc implication that Fire Dragons are dirty. Arc apologizes for the unintentional insult. But comes the question: How do Fire Dragon dispose of dirt and grime: Fiera flashes a grin then answers with a flash fire. Arc, alarmed, retreats. The Self-immolation leaves Fiera impressively immaculate although she incinerated her hair ties to boot. Mizu, however means to ask if that can be done for her. The immediate outcry of “No!” knocks the need for assistance out of the water.

A sudden rumble rattles them. What is happening overhead?

With cleaning and preening a self-sufficient service for at least one is done, a new issue has made its presence felt. But what could it be? Do the shake signal an emergency is imminent, or is it something larger that looms over them?

(I cannot say that this is one of the best comments I’ve written. But I gave it what I had.)
