Elektra: You know for people who shun me for sleeping with a tiger, ALOT of you are interested in what it’s like sleeping with tigers.

Roxxi: Well you gotta admit, Its not something you hear every day, hey is it true that they purr if-

Elektra: I’m not going to tell you that!

Roxxi: Aww…

Is it just me or is that gauntlet a new accessory?

Way back in the series, there was a Dragon named Circuitae who unfortunately didn’t get the development I’d hoped for before she met her untimely demise. She was going to be a bit of an engineer and she had this neat gauntlet that would do some cool stuff with lightning magic. After her death, I decided to have Amperie get the gauntlet off of her and keep it around. Maybe we’ll get to see a little more of what it does now! ^__^

Ground Shock

Underworld Intrusion and the Amplified Reaction

Rumbles rebound in the dragons ears down below. Blue belatedly blurts out “An Earthquake?” Ampiere was aware that this was an abandoned mine but is anxious of this being an erupting volcano instead. As Elektra orders an evacuation, other enunciations ring aloud alerting of others with them. This is fluidly followed by immediate orders for identification. The rapid reply is bold backtalk about how they’re the ones intruding. An apology of sorts is supplied along with the common about this being their “sex dungeon” which sets off Ampiere. The dragon launches lightning but gets light laughter instead. Apparently the entrees are Earth Dragons, the foremost of whom taunts them for forgetting that they are immune to electricity. Any discharge is of no danger to them. Shocker.

Elektra cannot escape her own error-filled estimation it seems. But that should be the least of their worries.

The Earth Dragons arrival must be about to uncover something of importance. But what could it be? What dirt have they dug up on the disowned Elektra and her compatriots?

Wow I knew if the earth dragons are a good fighting imagine what they would do if they join the tigers along with the water dragons I think they will find out what will happen Most of all I would like to see which dragons will side with sombrana and the others oscuras how many the percintage of groups would join?interesting

This page is just further evidence that earth dragons seem to be a sleeper powerhouse race. It feels like most dragons are to some extent resistant to their own element, but here we see a pointed example of one element being a strong counter to another.

I took a moment trying to ‘rock paper scissors’ diagram out which dragon race/element seems strong against which, but came instead to the conclusion that most dragon races are pure offense with relatively little defense? Fire, lightning, and light all seem able to conjure their element from nothing, but it doesnt confer them any particular defensive advantage – they just have to keep up the offense. Water and Earth have to use what’s available, but they dont seem limited to just ‘shooting’ their element and can use it both offensively and defensively. Light has some additional abilities as well which give it a little more utility too.

I guess a complicated balance keeps individual factions from thinking they have too much of an advantage, but I can’t help but wonder if the earth dragons’ relative passivity is a relic of a past time when they were a LOT less restricted to the point it scared even other dragons?
