NICE!! (Notice no earth dragon). I take it the Queen hasn’t forgiven Gaia for going behind her back and preventing other earth dragons from getting the ‘gravy’ as it were. Also thank you for clarification (I was wondering how the heck their sperm bank work).
But isnt this an alternate universe? If so we shouldn’t be seeing any lightning dragonesses either since they were banished! So either the same rule of Earth dragonesses sadly affects that worlds culture too, ooooor that dude didn’t request any earth girls to be there for the collecting….
When Shaleigh and company arrived on the island, the Fox did say that they were in the Obsidian Realm which is where the main story takes place. As for Lightning Dragons, they were banished from the Imperial City but not from existence. Looks like these two have steady employment! ^__^
*Le Gasps* Ooooooooh so they ARE in the original, that explains it all then. I can’t wait to see some Earth Girls on the island soon once their rights start to take effect.

You know what, I’m so glad those are evident! They were so small, I was afraid people wouldn’t be able to see them or tell what they were! ^__^

There’s two water, two fire, two lightning, and a light dragon. Despite his past, this likely isn’t a personal choice, the earth dragons just couldn’t be there.
They were the lowest rung of society days ago, which likely translated to extremely limited movement around the empire.
As for his ‘unwise choice’, he could be talking about anyone. All he says is the that Water ‘is’ a wise choice.
Could be a random lightning hookup, or a fire dragon in the past (where I believe Render came from, possibly Ziza).
Could even mean Oscura, with him regretting having a royal consort and the whole debacle with Lumina’s egg.
What it doesn’t mean is that it’s specifically ‘that incident’. She’s not involved in this, and shouldn’t be. No logical reason to be.
All valid hypotheses. Think Lord Ghislain will regale us with more soon?
I can see because of the size difference and population disparity, a more typical one on one event like with Tigers would be quite inefficient, so they just instead acquire what they need in bulk and store it. A little too impersonal and industrial for my taste but the guy certainly doesn’t seem to mind.
It’s just nice to feel wanted! ^__^
