Something tells me this is the view of the past. I could be wrong
The place sure looks cozier!
Still want strawberries, Queen Tyree?
That and an explanation!
Time shenanigans? Oh my! I wonder if we’ve now found the cost of making another realm experience Christmas over and over in a loop – something’s gotta snap back.
It sure doesn’t feel festive in there!
Fascinating! This does look like some kind of time shift! The appearance of the all these guards, the dragon wings and tails being colorful instead of brown, the lack of moss on the walls, the imposing fire… What I’m wondering is if the guards even see them. They don’t seem to be reacting to their presence at all.
One guard seems to be reacting- the one closest to the throne is looking to the side with a startled or perplexed expression on her face! Possibly at the twins sitting on the throne?
Feels like this is setting up a confrontation with the old queen, to hear what she really would have done about the current situation. Hopefully free of paradoxes!
That guard looks a little familiar.
I’m starting to think this isn’t some time shift, more like peering into another realm. Another possibly.
Interesting hypothesis!
Who’s tuning their bagpipes?
Oooh, I love bagpipes!
Maybe there was a switch on the throne and one of the twins touched it by accident…
A butt-activated switch?
Depending on the kind of switch that’d be a good way to activate it (a seat-warmer, for example)
I guess we’re seeing the first effects of the Obsidian Egg entering the Opal realm.
Not really sure, because if that were the case, then it would’ve affected Kilani and Co.
Are you saying toting the Obsidian Egg around in a gym bag could have deleterious consequences?
Light Work
Exclamations and Exponentiality
The Light gets Bright, and all around there is alarm. Suddenly, the chamber is far more crowded than before. What startling situation has surfaced?
Matters have multiplied & many are left to mull over the meaning. Can they decipher the details in time? Is this the inciting incident to further intensity?
Will we get insight as to what the ding-dong-doodle is going on? Stay tuned! ~__^
Obsidian has been without a realm egg for quite a while, so now that it’s back, it might be reseting things back to the natural order.
Things accelerated too far, or incorrectly, without it, so now it’s the proper flow of time, from whenever this is in the past. Could be actual time travel, or a vision of what the past was.
The tigers seem to be royal guard of sorts, what with their weapons and similar ‘uniform’. A few stand out.
The one near Shie’s arm resembles Kori, Kess and Kilani’s mom, minus headwrap, and a couple of them resemble Kenseth, the oldest of Kanti’s siblings, or related to Aika, since she and Kanti are cousins.
Interesting conjecture! With the Obsidian Egg on the move, who knows what could happen!
We’ve had some tigers have what could be seen as strange vision warning of the future.
But this has me wondering if we’re seeing an echo of the past. The wings and tails remind me of all the tiger belts in the dragons castle.
Perhaps this is a time of the previous tiger queen before she got skinned by the dragon queen.
