The Return of the Queen. And Riah is the only one for it.
Also, Field Marshal Mabel? That doesn’t exactly sound as venerable as Field Marshal Monty of WW2.
I checked and it was the highest military rank below a monarch, so that’s what I went with. ^__^;
you know of each race is gone or so on qoute they will be battling within there own groups not of race but the mine sets, tiger vs tiger dragon vs dragon . riah you got to forgive and let it go same as you oscura give it a rest . why is cree smiling she should know sheriaz is the same as oscura yet so different there the same dictators war ladies.
Maybe Cree’s too young to have seen what a typical ceremony with Queen shiraz consists of?
I like how everyone’s reaction is ‘Oh this is bad, after the shit we’ve seen, this is bad’. except for Cree, whose too young to grasp how the queen is advocating sending wave after wave of Tigers to die in a full-out assault and that tiger whose bangs covering one eye, who too far indoctrinated to grasp how that a bad idea.

Yeah, there seems to be a consensus that Queen Shiraz’s existence doesn’t seem to bode well for anyone.
Depending how this goes, I think Sombrana’s scheming against the Queen will go up in flames. (Assuming that’s Sombrana)
Maybe we’ll get a better look at that captive Dragon soon. ~__^
I’m not sure that can be Sombrana, since she’s still back in the caves with Elektra, Roxxi and them. I remember an earlier page explained two of the same individual can’t exist in the same realm. Then again if we’re dealing with time travel then maybe?
Of course the bloodthirsty one is just eating this up.
Riah’s lovin’ it!
I have two thoughts looking at this page, though admittedly one is a carryover from yesterday.
First: I cannot help but notice Princess Kiriad’s posture – arms in front of her like that, like she is shackled or bound. Likely reflective of her mental state, but it beautifully illustrates the way she feels trapped in this (to her) nightmare come to life.
Second: The two ‘past-meets-present’ scenes occurring in Onyx mines – do we actually know if the effect of being ‘shielded’ is the WHOLE WORLD rolling back except for ‘our’ cast being brought into the past, or is it just this glimpse of past characters only existing within the mines – and possibly vanishing the moment they try to step outside? Because the way Shaleigh talked about it, it sounded like she expected the WHOLE WORLD to roll back and not notice a thing. And if that’s the case… we are in full-on ‘change the past’ time travel territory now – and all the traumatic stories about how things went wrong, abruptly become potential foreshadowing of what could change.
Nice insights! For the first point, that was exactly what I was aiming for with Princess Kiriad. And as for the second, maybe we’ll find once someone ventures out of their respective onyx mine. ~__^

The Declaration of RAWR!!!
Shiraz says it all. Sisters and Servants sent to slay the Scalies in what is belatedly believed to be the battle to bust the Draconic Kingdom completely. Mabel, the able Marshal, is mustered to Shiraz’s side. Mabel has given her all to supervise and send in her superb sisters against any scaled intruder who steps foot into their formidable forest. Now the Tigress is the bearer of news to the belligerent royal.
Alarm and anxiety abound in the court and bad tidings are galloping into terror.
As past-Mabel steps up so too does a scaled someone from the shadows.
With the Slayer Shiraz stepping in once more what can anyone do to upset the uprising? And who steps forth into the court of the crushing Queen?
