Accent, huh? Now I want to know about what the Tiger accent sounds like.
Just imagine your own native language spoken by a non-native speaker. They use the right words but the pronunciation is always just a little bit off.
Looks like Shiraz is enjoying herself, everyone else… not so much.
Princess Kiriad just has to loosen up!
There’s also the bit about “slugs in each orifice”… I think if I were in the same position I’d just ask the tigers to pelt me right then and there D:
Now… Who’s / was Princess Solari? Queen now is Oscura. So… Is Queen Oscura a daughter of Queen Spectra? Or something about Sombrana being so bitter means that she’s not? Like the “other offspring” deal.
I’m intrigued now.
Well, we know Her Majesty Queen Spectra was a past queen, but maybe she wasn’t HM Queen Oscura’s immediate successor?
Well, I know Lady Schaddig was appointed by Queen Spectra and she’s still around. And I know Sombrana is bitter and DID say to Elektra that she wanted her place on the throne. So, either the throne is not inherited by blood, or something regarding the hierarchy of dragon races is at stake.
If the modern realm was going thru a time loop because of the non-native artifact, is THIS realm now going to go thru a time loop with the artifact moved? Except now a select handful have been protected from the effects so they’re noticing the wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff.
Yeah, you pretty much summed it up, and it looks like our Tiger pals have wound up in a past that most appear to have been happy to have left behind!
A circular blade? Seems inefficient.
It’s all in the wrist!
Well, we’ve now got very explicit answers on how the dragon was rendered magic-less for transport as a prisoner. Efficient, and a bit graphic and humiliating.
With the blatant namedropping of past draconic royalty comes a pointed question: Just how far in the past has this loop taken our impromptu time travellers?
It’s obviously not so far back that nobody knows Princess Kiriad – they have her on stage next to her mother for a reason. But it also seems to be not so far back because nobody is commenting on her being visibly older than they’d remember? Or is there some ‘adapting’ going on to make people just accept the modern-day Kiriad as her past self?
Certainly, Kiriad’s mother, of all people, would notice if her daughter were suddenly noticeably older, right?
All signs point to Queen Shiraz being… rather single-minded, at the moment. If not for more than just this moment. So I could really see her not truly noticing her daughter aging up a bit, focused as she is on battles. Wouldnt seem out of character for Kiriad to normally have her own bodyguard/babysitter while the Queen does her bloody business, and they only see each other for formal events.
Also with Tshila and the twins running toward the exit, I think we’re about to get another important question answered about what happens to our time travellers leave the onyx mine’s “protection”. Poofing back to the future would be ‘simple’, but it might look like someone is vanishing horribly into thin air – which could be traumatic. But if they instead find the whole world is now the past… what chaos can those rascals get up to?
Paradox or time alteration could be more and more likely, especially if a certain photograph is still fluttering around…
I do not blame tishila letting her see an execution now I know who is too blame all along it is the leaders on both sides the high class I think we need to have leaders
We do have leaders, and this moment, one of them is Her Supreme Majesty Queen Shiraz. All hail the queen!
oh did by the way did you like the buff aika?
